First Asian Hornet's nest found in Sark

The first Asian Hornet's nest in Sark has been found.

The invasive insects have already had nests found and destroyed in Alderney, Jersey and Guernsey.

The breed in Sark was spotted half way up the Harbour Hill, in a tree.

Members of the islands' beekeeping community are asking islanders and visitors to be vigilant as it’s believed there is another nest on the island.
