Guernsey’s Radford claims maiden CI squash title

Guernsey squash player Janick Radford beat Mike Hopkins from Jersey in the final at Beau Sejour to win his first Channel Islands title.

Radford was on dynamic form as he got past the experienced Hopkins 11/9 11/9 11/9.

Jersey’s Olivia French-Wood took the ladies’ title with a 3-0 victory over fellow Caesarean Rowena Hockey.

Lawrence Graham beat Andy Jeffreys 3-1 in an all-Guernsey final to win the racketball event.

Guernsey’s Leo Fossey overcame Jersey’s Anthony Harkin in the boys’ U19 category, while Danielle Parr beat Catherine McConnell in an all-Guernsey girls’ U19 final.
