Two school model would mean 'best educational outcomes', according to College of FE
The board of Guernsey’s College of Further Education has come out in favour of a two school model for the future of Secondary Education.
In a statement Julian Winser, Chair of the Board said this option, labelled ‘the alternative option’ provided the ‘best educational outcomes’.
Education, Sport and Culture is recommending a three school model for the delivery of the future of Secondary Education. It’s expected their final plans will be released next week, for debate in December.
Already, talk of a potential two school model has provoked reaction from school communities with a Facebook Page called ‘Save Beaucamps School’ being set up, opposing plans for a two school model.
