Four more sightings of Asian hornets in Guernsey
Four more sightings of Asian hornets have been confirmed in Guernsey.
The Agriculture, Countryside and Land Management Services has received and followed up on several sightings in the past five days.
Four confirmed reports were in the vicinity of the Longfrie Inn and two unconfirmed reports were in Rouge Rue and Bulwer Avenue.
These are the first reports since the nest found in Torteval on 7th September was destroyed.
Anyone who finds an Asian hornet is asked to photograph the insect if possible, note the location and watch it long enough to determine the direction of travel.
