Hundreds of people are expected to join a parade through St Helier this afternoon, as part of Jersey's annual Pride event.

The island's hosting its third Pride celebration, after thousands of people partied in Weighbridge Square for the inaugural event last year.

The 2017 parade will again end at Weighbridge Square, having left West's Centre at around 2:30pm.

This year there is a special wedding theme, using the hashtag #IDo, to tie in with the islands legalising same-sex marriage.

Those going along can dig out their hats and go dressed for "the biggest wedding party ever".
