Jersey Police HQ project praised
The planning, budgeting and building of Jersey's new police headquarters has been praised by the island's watchdog for how taxpayers money is spent.
The State's Public Account Committee says the £21M construction offers a model of good practice for all future states building projects.
However, the report says the review does not extend to considering whether the new Police Station should have been built, and nor does it look at concerns over parking facilities or traffic.
These latter aspects could form part of a future review in 2020.
