A warm welcome for one returning Falklands veteran

All this week ITV Channel TV are following a Jersey war veteran as he returns to the Falklands for the first time since the war ended 35 years ago.

Former Paratrooper, Dave Baker was one of 20 Jerseymen sent to fight in the conflict against Argentina in 1982.

In the first of our three-part series we watched Dave as he retraced his tour of duty.

The second episode follows him as he revisits the battleground which saw the liberation of more than 100 Falklanders who'd been held prisoner for a month.

Little does he know though, the people he helped to free, have come together to greet him.
