Search for new Children's Commissioner in Jersey begins
The search has begun for a new Children's Commissioner in Jersey.
An independent commissioner to champion the rights of young people was one of the key recommendations of the Care Inquiry earlier this month.
The role will ensure that the voices of all children on the island are heard and future policy is tailored to their rights and needs.
Funding of £1.8million has been allocated to support the new role over the next three years.
