Crash victims were on their way back from wedding

Two young islanders killed in a crash last night were believed to be on their way back from a wedding party, police have said.

27 year-old Stuart Moorat and 25 year-old Georgina Le Prevost died at the scene of the crash on the Perelle coast road at around 11pm.

Police investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.

They have confirmed they are aware who was driving but are not releasing that information at this stage.
