The findings of Jersey's Independent Care Inquiry made 'difficult reading' for some politicians and felt 'like a punch in the stomach' for others.

States Members gave ITV News their responses to the child abuse investigation's final report this morning.

The conclusions were published yesterday, following three years of investigation into historical abuse within the island's care system.
