Jersey Government House reception for Queen's birthday
Islanders in Jersey are invited to celebrate the Queen's 91st birthday at Government House.
The Lieutenant Governor and his wife are hosting a reception in the grounds on Friday evening.
It starts at 7pm and is expected to finish by 8.30pm, with organisers saying it will take place irrespective of the weather.
The 'colourful evening' is said to include:
Music by La Ronde Concert Band
21 Gun Salute by the 1781 Jersey Militia
Marching Display and Beating of Retreat by the Jersey Pipe Band
The Band of the Island of Jersey
There is parking at Government House, with additional parking available at the d’Hautrée House School site (entry off St Saviour’s Hill.)
