Jersey manager Martin Cassidy has told ITV News new senior island captain Cavaghn Miley faces a big challenge taking on the role, but he is ready for it.

Miley has been given the armband for Saturday’s 101st Muratti Vase final at Footes Lane after impressing the island manager in his first season in charge.

The young St Paul’s midfielder shone in last year’s match at Springfield as Jersey retained the Vase with a 1-0 against their rivals.
