Guernsey will look to make it three Ambassadeur Bowl wins in a row when they head to Springfield for Saturday’s U21 Muratti.

Angus Mackay’s side retained the trophy in dramatic fashion in 2016, winning 4-3 in extra-time at the Track.

The Guernsey coach has been able to name many of the same squad this year, including several players who have featured regularly for Guernsey FC this season.

Charlton Gauvain is set to appear in this third age group Muratti of the year, having been involved in the U16 and U18 fixtures in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Jersey youngster Joe Kilshaw is included after playing in the U18 inter-insular, and making his senior debut in last weekend’s Muratti semi-final win in Alderney.

Jersey manager Martin Cassidy, who coaches the island’s seniors and U21s, will pick from nineteen players, while Mackay has named five standbys because of injury doubts.
