Head Chef Mark Jordan to leave Atlantic Hotel at end of season
Mark Jordan will step down as Executive Head Chef at The Atlantic Hotel in Jersey at the end of the season.
It comes after a successful 13 years at the helm of the hotel’s kitchens.
The Atlantic Hotel have described Mr Jordan as "instrumental" in their mission to place themselves and Jersey on the map as a "gourmet destination".
Since he joined in 2004, Ocean Restaurant has achieved several prestigious accolades including four Rosettes from the AA in addition to a coveted Michelin star, which has been retained for 11 years.
Mr Jordan will continue to work alongside Managing Director, Patrick Burke, while a suitable successor is recruited.
They will remain partners in their informal restaurant, Mark Jordan at the Beach, a joint venture which they plan to continue to develop.
Mr Jordan says he has had an "incredible" 13 years at The Atlantic Hotel and Jersey has become his home.
He added that Mark Jordan at the Beach will now become his main focus where he'll continue to work in partnership with Patrick.
