Calls for Ozouf's resignation over Innovation Fund
A Jersey Constable is calling for the politician in charge of the Innovation Fund, which lost £1.4m of tax payers' money, to resign.
Constable Chris Taylor described the revelations from the scheme, led by Senator Philip Ozouf, as 'horrifying'.
He wants Senator Ozouf, Assistant Chief Minister, to 'accept responsibility' for signing off the fund - which lent money to a company that later went into liquidation.
Speaking to ITV News the St John Constable said there is also a 'wider issue' to consider, that the Council of Ministers is 'far, far too powerful'.
