Johnson: Guernsey FC link up will give our players vital experience
Guernsey FC's new working arrangement with Bristol City will provide the Robins' young players with vital experience of playing senior men's football, according to their head coach.
Lee Johnson also revealed that Kodi Lyons-Foster and Jake Andrews, who are currently on loan with the Green Lions, are keen to travel to Footes Lane to play home games as well as representing the Sarnians on the road.
The link up between the two clubs, which was revealed at the start of this month, will see promising Guernsey players potentially head to Ashton Gate whilst City youngsters can be made available to Tony Vance's side.
Lyons-Foster and Andrews made their debuts for Vance's team in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Herne Bay with Andrews scoring the visitors' goal from the spot, having won the penalty himself.
