Huge £12m expansion planned for Jersey's Tamba Park
Plans for Jersey's "biggest indoor entertainment area since Fort Regent" are being submitted for Tamba Park.
The attraction has released the details of its new £12 million proposals, which include an 80,000 sq ft indoor activity area, 15 houses, a 300 space car park and agricultural land.
Detailing the plans, the park says the island's entertainment industry has "taken a sharp decline" and describes Fort Regent as a "former image of itself".
The proposals include the following activities for the indoor area:
Karting
Mini golf (18 holes)
Bowling (adults and children)
Ice skating
Paintballing
In order to fund the project, the owners say they want to build several houses, which they would sell for profit.
They say they want to demolish the disused glasshouse on site, so that it can be converted back into agricultural land.
The company is asking the public to vote on whether they support the plans before they are submitted for planning approval.
