Seaside festival provides boost for business

Local businesses say the sunshine has provided them with a boost, after hundreds of people visited Jersey's seaside festival today.

Organisers of the event at Havre des Pas say they feel they've struck lucky with the weather, as the area is busy with tourists and locals.

The festival started at 10am and finishes at 8pm.

Those running bars and restaurants are opening late tonight to take advantage of the crowds, staying open until midnight.
