Adrian's friend: I'm glad it's finally over, we can have closure

A school friend of Adrian Lynch has said he is happy that everyone can have closure, after a body believed to be his was found in a reservoir.

Sam Wood told ITV News 'I'm glad it's over', after a long eight month wait since Adrian disappeared.

He describes him as 'a great lad' who was 'fun to be around' adding he was 'taken too soon'.

The pair went to Les Quennevais school together.

Sam says now a body has been found, family and friends can 'give him the send off he deserves'.
