Jersey's Economic Development Minister says he is 'more confident' that issues with the issues with the Blue Islands service will be resolved, after a meeting with bosses today.

Senator Lyndon Farnham met with senior staff at the airline this morning and was joined by the Chief Minister.

Concerns have been raised and customers left angry after a number of cancellations and delays to Guernsey-Jersey services.

Islanders are being reassured that problems are being dealt with 'at the highest level' and 'clear actions' have been agreed between the company and the States today.

Senator Farnham 'stressed the seriousness of the problems' and says he is particularly concerned that travelers are not getting the service they need.
