Guernsey's top politician has criticised David Cameron's government for not considering the impact of Brexit.

Deputy Gavin St Pier says it has been particularly bad for members of the British and Irish Council, which includes the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

He made the comments at a summit of the council in Cardiff today.

Representatives from Wales, Ireland, Scotland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man were there to discuss how to deal with the UK's exit from the EU.

The Secretary of Northern Ireland reiterated that Crown Dependencies's interests will be included in Brexit negotiations.
