WATCH: The man who caught the 'Beast of Jersey'
One of the policemen who caught the Beast of Jersey says he felt it was a 'moment of fate.'
It is 45 years this month since the notorious criminal was caught.
Edward Paisnel took children from their homes and sexuallyassaulted them for more than a decade before he was caught, by chance, when he jumped a red light.
PCs John Riseborough and Tom McGinn were the pair who arrested him.
John Riseborough tells our reporter Hannah Bechelet about the moment:
After the arrest Edward Paisnel was found guilty of 13 counts of sexual assault against six children.
ITV News has been looking at why the story is still so well known, and how changes in policing would affect the case if it happened today.
