"Support saved our bacon" says Town Centre Manager after Market Square concerts get sponsorship

Weekly music concerts in Guernsey’s Market Square will continue, despite a sponsor pulling their support.

The Town Centre Partnership’s Saturday concerts have seen young people perform in St Peter Port every weekend since the start of May, but had been threatened with cancellation after their sponsor withdrew funding.

Since then, a new sponsor has stepped in to support the remainder of the series, which will see performances on Saturdays until September 24th.
