Beach clean for World Ocean Day

Scores of islanders are expected to help clear Jersey beaches of rubbish tomorrow, to mark 'World Ocean Day.'

The beach clean has been set up by Jersey's States managed 'Eco Active' team.

Low tide is at 4.15pm and Eco Active says that is the ideal time for an after school or work activity.

Anyone who does take to the sands to pick up litter is asked to take plenty of photos which can be shared on social media.
