In the second of our reports that look behind the scenes of ITV's new drama ‘The Durrells,’ we are in Corfu in the villa where Gerald Durrell grew up.

His childhood - which was retold in the best-selling book ‘My Family And Other Animals’- is coming to TV screens in a 6 part series.

It recreates the many adventures he and his siblings had in the Greek island in the 1930s.

Gary Burgess was given exclusive access to the cast and crew in Corfu, including Milo Parker, who plays a young Gerald Durrell.
