Exclusive screening of 'The Durrells' in Jersey

Supporters of Durrell have been invited to an exclusive screening of a show about the conservation charity’s founder.

‘The Durrells’ will be hitting our TV screens in April, but a select few guests are getting a preview of the 6 part TV series, in Cineworld this evening.

The ITV drama is based on Gerald Durrell’s classic trilogy of Corfu memoirs, including the much loved story ‘My Family and Other Animals.’

The show portrays the adventures of Gerald and his family as they make Corfu their home​, with its cast led by Keeley Hawes, who plays Louisa Durrell.

Those not invited to attend tonight’s screening will have to make do with the series trailer, until the programme is available in living rooms across the nation, next month.
