All about Barnardo's
As one of the leading children's charities, Barnardo's support young people regardless of their circumstances, gender, race, disability or behaviour.
They believe that with the right help, committed support and belief, even the most vulnerable children can turn their lives around.
Plan B is the Barnardo's service based in Jersey. They provide support to young people aged between 16-25 who are either living independently, leaving care or in need of support with housing.
Plan B believe in working closely with young people to make sure they overcome difficult circumstances and reach their full potential.
Here are the different programmes and services they offer:

The Hub in Guernsey is run by Barnardo's. It's home to a number of different support services for children, young people and their families.
Whatever a child is going through, big or small, The Hub are there to help.
It offers young people information, advice and support from the following services:
The Drop in - Weekly sessions to discuss any worries or concerns with a trained team of listeners
Mentoring - a 6 week regular and dedicated mentoring programme to discuss and focus on their individual goals
The Sunflower Project - Group work and trips away for children and families to share experiences with other families
Speak Out - A safe and friendly place to discuss their sexual orientation or gender identity
Unite - Emotional support to parents who have a child with a disability and also one-to-one support with children
iHub - Working with schools to educate children how to stay safe online and training sessions for professionals and parents
My Time - Supporting children emotionally and practically who have a parent in prison
Hub+ - Builds self esteem and resilience in young people going through a difficult time
Hub Zone - Outreach sessions during school lunchtimes, youth clubs and staff can also be found out on the streets.
