Plans for 'Joey World' revealed
A Trislander plane popular with families, is returning back to the Bailiwick to be featured in a dedicated children's play park.
G-Joey was used by States-owned company Aurigny but after being retired last year he has since been offered a home at Oatlands Village in Guernsey.
The friendly aircraft will be maintained and available for the public to visit in a static display.
'Joey World' will include a simulator so that children can 'fly' from Guernsey to Alderney. They will also have access to the cockpit.
The owners hope to create an uplifting, inspirational and educational message to young people.
Joey will now be owned by Chris Cole, the owner of the proposed 'Joey World' attraction.
