Jersey Action Against Rape helps victims of historical sexual offences
A Jersey charity, which supports Islanders who have been raped or sexually assaulted, says it has been contacted by victims of historical offences.
‘Jersey Action Against Rape’ (JAAR) has been named as one of the voluntary organisations police have been working with, as part of ‘Operation Rectangle.’
Sara McIntosh, Chairperson of JAAR, has described it as ‘a privilege’ to be able to help victims.
Sara says the charity offers round the clock support for Islanders who need it.
