She may have been Guernsey's golden girl at the 2015 NatWest Island Games but table tennis ace Alice Loveridge insists it was team success that gave her the most satisfaction in Jersey last summer.
The Sarnians beat Gotland in a nail-biting final at the Geoff Reed Centre and picked up a medal in four of the six events.
After table-tennis endured a four year absence from the Games, Guernsey welcomed it back in style with three golds and a single.
And despite Loveridge winning a third singles competition in as many attempts she was more pleased with retaining the team crown.
