Guernsey table-tennis player Alice Loveridge is one of four Channel Islands athletes hoping to be named at Betway Sports Personality of the Year for the first time.

Loveridge, who picked up the sport aged nine, won two titles at the British Universities championships, beating team-mate Emma Vickers in the singles final, before teaming up with her to win the doubles event.

Then, at her third NatWest Island Games in Jersey, Loveridge won gold in the singles, doubles and team event.

Loveridge has been chatting to our Sports Personality presenter Rob Jones.
