Search efforts for Adrian Lynch scaled back
Jersey Police are scaling back the search for Adrian Lynch, but say they are still committed to finding him.
Search efforts have been ongoing for the past 16 days, but a police statement says Adrian is likely to be 'curled up in a ball potentially with his suit jacket pulled over his head'.
Further searching will take place where there is information or evidence to support it.
The 20-year-old went missing in the early hours of Saturday 5th December, following a work Christmas party.
He was dropped off by a taxi in the Carrefore Selous area and it is believed he became disorientated, possibly started suffering from hypothermia and got himself into a situation he couldn't get out off.
There is no evidence of third party involvement.
Police have been joined in their searching by Honorary Police, Jersey Fire and Rescue, Jersey Search and Rescue, Ambulance Service, Normandy Rescue, British Red Cross, Channel Island Air Search, Ports of Jersey and St John Ambulance.
Among other things searchers have used Police Dogs, drones, night vision and sonar equipment.
