John Torode to host Kitchen Inferno

Celebrity chef John Torode will host the 2015 Kitchen Inferno charity event in jersey.

Two teams of novice chefs with a range of abilities will go head-to-head in the kitchen.

ITV Channel's very own Brian Constantine will be taking part as one of the contestants.

Organisers say the competition promises to be bigger and even tougher than before.

Kitchen Inferno raises money for the Jersey Cheshire Home.

The teams will have training sessions over the next 6 weeks with each of the local chefs who have designed the menu.

Head Chef at Sumas, Chef Patrice Bouffaut, will train the teams on the starters, Chef David Cameron on main courses and award winning Chef Kundeti from Saffrons at the Hotel De France will train the teams on desserts.
