Spoof pictures of the Solar Eclipse

Thick clouds ruined the view for many islanders, as the first Solar Eclipse on this scale since 1999 took place.

But that didn't stop islanders from sending in plenty of spoof pictures, showing what could have been lurking behind those clouds:

Julie Duncan, from Grouville, sent a picture of what appears to be the Death Star.

Ian Thoume also sent an image of the Death Star.

So, what was the actual view like for many islanders?
