Russian runner sets new Jersey Marathon record
A runner from Russia has won the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon.
Aleksey Troshkin set a new course record of 2:18:32 in what were almost ideal running conditions.
Tomas Abyu from Ethiopia and Kenyan Reuben Chumba were 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The first woman across the finish line was Ethiopian Getenesh Tamirat in a time of 2:47:48.
More than 2,000 runners took part this year.
