A1 in Nottinghamshire closed due to 16-vehicle crash

The A1 in Nottinghamshire is shut in both directions due to a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound stretch, involving 16 vehicles.

The road is closed between the A57 (Apleyhead / Five Lanes End) and A638 (Markham / Walesby Junction).

Nottinghamshire Police say they believe the injuries are minor.
