Weekend Picks: The Staffordshire Shire Horse Show
Stafford County Showground: 17th – 19th March 2017
Last week it was Crufts, this week it's horses, as the Staffordshire Showground gets set to host their annual, National Shire Horse Show.
The event is thought to be the world’s largest gathering of Shire horses and features a variety of events where horses are put through their paces for spectators who visit the region from all over the world.
The show also gives visitors the opportunity to find out more about Shire Horses and the often unheard contribution they have made to human life throughout history, courtesy of the Shire Horse Society.
