Weekend Picks: Medieval Weekend in the Town House

Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove: Sat 18th & Sun 19th March

Have you ever wondered how you would manage without the internet or your other home comforts? if so spare a thought for your Medieval ancestors, for who everyday life was a real world away from how we now know it.

This weekend the Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove is set to host its very own Medieval weekend, with the help of local students from King Edward's School Living History Group.

And, if a life of hard labour isn't quite your thing, theres plenty more to do as the museum chronicles 700 years of life in the West Midlands, with much of it open-air.
