Tins of 'exploding dog food' on M6 after lorry fire

There are severe delays on the northbound M6 in Staffordshire after a lorry carrying dog food caught fire.

Tins of pet food were still exploding more than an hour after emergency services were called to the scene.

A lorry fire on the M6 has led to the motorway being blocked in both directions between Junction 14 (Stafford North) and Junction 15 (Stoke-on-Trent).
