Road closures remain in place today after a burst water main brought flooding chaos to a suburb of Birmingham.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area surrounding Harborne Lane in Selly Oak after gallons of water escaped from a burst water pipe last night.

A collapsed street lamp can be seen in the foreground as water gushes from a pipe and into the road.
The site was cordoned off to motorists earlier this afternoon.
Severn Trent water say they are working around the clock to resolve the issue.
Robin and Geraldine Tea said there was “chaos” as the torrent cascaded through their driveway, garage and garden.
Severn Trent Water said that the burst main was a 42-inch diameter pipe which serves 200,000 homes.
A Birmingham road which was flooded after a main water pipe burst will remain closed today as repairs continue.
