15-year-old Kayleigh was groomed online before being raped, killed and dumped in a field. Today, a special memorial service is being held in her home village of Measham. And pupils at a school in Leicestershire have been shown "Kayleigh's Love Story", a film which shows how she was groomed online.
A service will take place tonight to remember Kayleigh Haywood who was raped and murdered in Ibstock in Leicestershire a year ago.
Reverend Vivian Elphick is leading the memorial service at St Laurence Church in Kayleigh's home village of Measham. She says that "life must go on as normal, because that's the best counter to evil" that she knows of.
The parents of murdered teenager Kayleigh Haywood have released an emotional letter on the anniversary of her death.
Today marks a year since the teenager from Measham was raped and murdered.
