Dad’s Day Barbecue and Family Nature Trail: Sun 19th June (Barnsdale Gardens, Rutland)
Families are being invited to Barnsdale Gardens this weekend to celebrate the magic of summer's longest day with a round-the-garden nature trail.
Children can explore the gardens with the aid of a round-the-garden nature trail, to find some of the birds, butterflies and friendly minibeasts that live in the different habitats. There’ll also be events taking place throughout the day to celebrate Father’s Day.
These gardens have been organic for more than 20 years and it really shows in the abundance of wildlife… The ponds and streams are home to frogs and dragonflies too, and we've even spotted great crested newts in the Country Paradise Garden, so come and see what you can discover!"
