Residents are being advised to keep their doors and windows closed while fire crews tackle a large blaze at a recycling plant in Oldbury.
At its height 50 firefighters were needed to fight the flames at Weir Waste Services on Trinity Street.
West Midlands Fire Service has confirmed there is no toxic smoke, but have issued the warning to those living nearby as a precaution.
