Airbus A380 makes first Birmingham flight with passengers

The Airbus 380 flies into Birmingham Airport on a passenger flight for the first time today, before heading back out to Dubai two hours later.

Birmingham will be the fifth route operating the new two-class A380 since it was unveiled at the Dubai Airshow in November by Emirates.

The upgrade will increase daily capacity to and from the region by 15%.
