Great British Festival of Pies: Sat 12th March (Market Place, Melton Mowbray)
This Saturday some of the best pie makers in the country will be hoping to be crowned Supreme Champion in the Great British Pie Festival grand finale.
Pie producers will be coming to Melton Mowbray showcasing their multi-award winning game and meat pies to deliciously sweet fruit pies. There’ll also be an opportunity for visitors to buy the finest pies that the country has to offer at the festival. There’ll be live music and dancing to keep visitors entertained throughout.
“We are hoping that the event will become the grand finale of both British Pie Week and the British Pie Awards, by providing the public with the opportunity to buy some of the UK’s most acclaimed pies. We will be hijacking the Market Place to celebrate everything that’s good about pies !”
