ROADS: M6 Northbound closed between J1 A426 (Rugby / Lutterworth) and J2 M69 / A46 (Coventry).

M6 Northbound closed, stationary traffic due to accident, two lorries and five cars involved between J1 A426 (Rugby / Lutterworth) and J2 M69 / A46 (Coventry).

All traffic held just before 17:50 after a multi vehicle accident. Traffic was passing on the hard shoulder. Two fire engines and an and ambulance is on scene.

The carriageway is now closed from J1.

Diversion - Follow the hollow triangle symbol via exit at J1 to follow the A426 northbound to the A5. Follow the northbound towards M69 J1, to then take the southbound M69 towards M6 J2.
