Notts County FC has gone up for sale after chairman Ray Trew announced his resignation.
In an an open letter to fans he wrote that he had mixed emotions abut leaving but that his family had been subjected to "foul, mindless abuse in recent days".
The search to find a buyer for Notts County football club starts today. It follows the resignation of owner and Chairman Ray Trew.
He said he took the decision after his family was subjected to foul abuse by some supporters.
