The Dean of Coventry, The Very Reverend John Witcombe, said Jimmy Hill was a "huge figure in the city" ahead of a memorial service taking place in the city's Cathedral this evening.
Thousands of fans - who could not fit inside the cathedral - listened to proceedings from outside.

A memorial service being held in remembrance of former Coventry City manager Jimmy Hill, will take place later today at Coventry Cathedral.
