Jury retires to consider Langley Mill fire verdict

The jury in the trial of three men accused of starting a fire in which a mother, her 6-month old baby daughter, and a teenage boy died, has retired to consider its verdict.

17 year old Amy Smith, her daughter Ruby-Grace Gaunt & 17 year old Edward Green died in the blaze at a flat on North Street at Langley Mill in Derbyshire in June last year.

Pete Eyre & his two sons Anthony & Simon Eyre are charged with murder. All three deny the charges.
