Kayleigh Haywood disappearance now being treated as murder

Police investigating the disappearance of 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood say it has now become a murder investigation.

Kayleigh Haywood, from Measham, was last seen at 6pm on Friday 13th November when she was dropped off outside Ibstock Community College, in Central Avenue.

Kayleigh’s mum and dad, Stephanie Haywood and Martin Whitby, described her as a bubbly, loving, caring girl who loves her family.

Detailed searches of farmland are continuing for missing teenager Kayleigh Haywood.

The 15-year-old was last seen on Friday evening when her family dropped her off at a community college in Ibstock, Leicestershire.

Two men aged 27 and 28 are being held by police in connection with Kayleigh's disappearance.
